Terms and Conditions

1. Service

PixPass is a service provided by Pix Service Creative Studios (Matera, Italy) that lets the user create online ID photos compliant with Italian documents (Identity Card CIE, Passport, Driving License, Health Card, etc.) and receive the product in digital format, pick it up at the physical store, or have it shipped.

2. Pricing

Prices are in Euro, VAT included:

Family Package: for orders with multiple ID photos (2 to 4 family members) a discount of 1.00 EUR is applied to each ID photo from the second onwards. Each family member can independently choose their own document format. The optional cutting service (+2.00 EUR) is applied once for the entire package and includes delivery of pre-cut ID photos. Shipping, when required, is unified for the whole package.

Payment via Stripe Checkout (credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.). Pix Service Creative Studios does not receive, store or process card data. Payment receipt is issued directly by Stripe via email.

5. Right of withdrawal — exclusion (Art. 16(c) Directive 2011/83/EU; Art. 59(c) Italian Consumer Code)

ID photos are goods made to consumer specifications or clearly personalised. Therefore, pursuant to Art. 59(c) of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is expressly excluded for all products offered (digital, pickup, shipping).

By accepting these terms at checkout, the customer acknowledges and accepts this exclusion.

6. Refund policy

Full refund is possible only in the following cases:

Refund requests to info@pixservice.it within 14 days of payment, citing order reference.

7. Complaints

Send complaints to info@pixservice.it with order reference and issue description. Reply within 7 working days.

8. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

For any complaint, customers may contact us directly at info@pixservice.it. We undertake to reply within 7 working days and to seek an amicable solution.

If no agreement is reached, consumers may start an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedure through accredited mediation bodies, including the conciliation desks of the Italian Chambers of Commerce. The list of ADR bodies is available on the website of the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

The European ODR platform established by EU Regulation 524/2013 was discontinued by the European Commission on 20 July 2025 pursuant to EU Regulation 2024/3228 and is no longer available.

9. Liability limitation

Pix Service Creative Studios warrants that the generated ID photo meets declared technical requirements (size, resolution, JPEG format). It does NOT warrant acceptance by public authorities if the subject's photo does not meet ICAO specs or specific authority requirements (eg. eyewear glare, non-neutral expression, insufficient background uniformity, headwear, hair on face). It is the customer's responsibility to verify their shot meets such requirements.

10. Minimum age

The service is intended for adults. Orders for minors must be placed exclusively by the parent or legal guardian.

11. Privacy

Personal data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy available on this site.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version is always available on this page. Orders already placed are governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute not resolved out of court is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Matera (Italy), except for mandatory consumer protection rules.
