The PixPass website uses technical cookies, exempt from prior consent under Art. 122 Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines (Provv. 231/2021), and, only if you accept in the banner, Meta (Facebook) marketing cookies.

Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) - only with consent
If you click Accept in the banner, the site loads the Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Facebook/Instagram). It measures the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram ads and shows you relevant ads. If you click Reject or leave without choosing, the Pixel is not loaded.

Data sent to Meta: page visited, IP address, browser and device information and, if you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, the link to your account. We never send Meta your photos, name, email, phone or address. For this data PixService and Meta are joint controllers only for collection and transmission (Meta controller addendum); further processing is Meta's under its privacy policy. Meta may transfer data to the USA (Data Privacy Framework).

Analytics
To measure how effective the service is, we collect aggregate statistics without using cookies. When you visit a page, a small script sends the following information to our own server (no third parties):
- URL of the page visited
- Referring site (referrer, if any)
- Device type (desktop / mobile / tablet)
- Visitor IP hashed with a daily-rotating salt: the same IP on the same day produces the same hash (to count unique daily visitors), but visits by the same person on different days cannot be correlated
This processing complies with the Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines (Provv. 231/2021) on first-party analytics with anonymised identifiers: it is exempt from prior consent as it is treated as a technical cookie.
Retention: 90 days, then automatic deletion.
We honor the Do Not Track header: if your browser sends it, we do not collect visit statistics.
Other tools
We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tools other than those listed. If we add any, we will update this page and ask for consent where required.
How to disable cookies
You can disable or delete technical cookies from your browser settings. Disabling them may affect restricted areas of the site.
